Ostatnio zaczęłam myśleć nad tym co można zrobić z tego co nas otacza i patrzyłam na te wszystkie zioła, które mam w ogrodzie i wpadłam na pomysł, że można by zrobić jakiś syrop do herbatki na zimę czy do deserów. Ten syrop możecie też wykorzystać do herbatki w zimie, do lemoniady, do domowego mohito, deserów czy drinków. A Wy do czego jeszcze byście go wlali? Myślę, że będzie mi on świetnie przypominał o lecie, gdy siedziałam na tarasie popijając wodę z miętą i słuchając cykania świerszczy. - dla lubiących dolewać sobie coś do herbatki
- dla szukających bazy do domowego mohito
- dla mających krzaczek mięty w ogrodzie
- litr wody
- sok z jednej cytryny
- ok. 40 gałązek mięty
- 850g cukru
Gałązki mięty opłukać. Gałązki wrzucić do garnka, zalać je wodą. Jeśli gałązki mamy bardzo duże to możemy je przeciąć na kawałki. Zagotować i pozostawić w garnku na całą dobę. Kolejnego dnia odcedzić gałązki na sicie lub gazie i pozostały syrop ponownie zagotować wraz z cukrem i sokiem z cytryny (cytrynę przed dodaniem sparzyć wrzątkiem i przekroić na pół). Gotować około godzinę (by syrop trochę zgęstniał), następnie gorący przelać do słoiczków lub buteleczek, zakręcić i odwrócić do góry nogami.
